🌟Welcome to Feeling Nostalgic 🌟

Feeling Nostalgic is a blog all about romanticising and remembering the 2000s. Each week I’ll be writing about a different topic related to the noughties.

Its Halloween and if you don’t have a costume organised for tonight here are some Halloween costume ideas based on some famous 2000s characters from kids TV.

1.      Little Princess

This costume idea is super easy but really effective. All you need is a white dress, some red boots or shoes and either buy or make a wee crown. The Little Princess was a tad bratty so maybe just dress as the character and not bring her attitude with you!

2.      Lizzie McQuire

Lizzie McQuire will never fail to be iconic. She is a fashion icon and the pinacol of 2000s energy to me. If you wanted to make this a duo or group costume it would be so easy, someone could dress as Gordo, Isabella and/or Paolo.

3.      Mona the Vampire

This costume is definitely on my list for Halloween ideas for next year I think Mona the Vampire would be an adorable costume. Obviously, dressing up as a vampire is a very normal costume but being Mona specifically would really elevate your costume and bring back some fun memories watching the show on a Saturday morning.

4.      Fifi and the Flowertots

Fifi could be such a cute costume with her little denim dungarees and pink welly boots. She is such an iconic character and quite a simple character to recreate.

5.      Bill and Ben Flowerpot Men

Continuing the garden theme, Bill and Ben are an adorable duo for two best pals. I feel like this could either be a cute costume or you could very easily make this more gory and horror themed.

That is all five of my recommendations if you want to dress as a 2000s character for Halloween and win the best costume competition. I would love to know what you dressed up as when you were younger in the 2000s by commenting below!
